Our services are provided by highly experienced Evaluators and Programme Managers.

Dr. Catherine Halbert (B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D, FRSH) is the Director of Halbert Research. Catherine has worked with consortia across a number of scientific disciplines including: Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology; Health; ICT; Nanosciences, Energy, Environment; and Socio-economic Sciences and the Humanities. She also works as an EC-appointed expert proposal evaluator and project reviewer (in FP5, FP6 and now FP7), in addition to acting as a nationally appointed evaluator of research proposals in Ireland.

Catherine has undertaken EU-funded, and privately funded, assignments in many EU member states and associated countries, including Egypt and Turkmenistan. She studied at the University of Limerick, Trinity College Dublin, and University College Cork. She is a frequent lecturer at University level, and has more than 20 years experience in research management in addition to technical trouble shooting for the Food and Pharma sector.

halbert research also works with a number of other experienced evaluators and project managers, depending on the scientific discipline involved and the type of project management services required by the client.
